Martha’s Table

6 Oct

Hello everyone. Happy Fall!

I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather and are getting ready for the holidays. Ribbon of Love is ready for the holiday season to begin. Only 79 days until Christmas!

On Wednesday, October 3, our organization volunteered at a local soup kitchen to get to know the members in our community. Martha’s Table is a wonderful program sponsored by All Saints Episcopal Church on Market Street in Selinsgrove. They provide a free community meal the first and third Wednesday of every month for struggling and low-income families.Martha’s Table also distributes food to the families at each meal.

This was an incredible experience and we are thankful to have been part of it. We hope to be sponsoring some of the families we have met at Martha’s Table. We plan on helping out at this event again in the future.

We are very excited about this year and are ready to bring blessing upon deserving families.

The Ribbon of Love Cookie Give

22 Nov

Hello everyone! The Reverse Trick or Treat Cookie give was a huge success! We made hundreds of cookies and were able to make over 15 baskets to give to random families of the comminity!

The Daily Item was kind enough to feature the Ribbon of Love! The main purpose of this event was to “give the unexpected.” We wrapped up Christmas cookie baskets, gave them to random families and told them about our club!

People couldn’t beleive it! Below are some pictures from the day’s event!

Welcome to the Ribbon of Love Website!
